FAQs

How long does it take to make a candle?

Candle making usually takes between 15-30 minutes in the store then you leave your creation with us for at least 2 hours to set up. You can come back to pick up your candle at your convenience!

Do I need a reservation?

You do not need a reservation to make a candle with us! The whole experience usually only takes 30 minutes so our seats turn over fairly quickly. They are available on a first come first serve basis. If you have a party larger than 6, you can call ahead for us to prepare as best as we can!

When can we pick up our candles/how long do you keep them for?

You can come back to get them as soon as 2-4 hours after you finish making your candle during store hours. We keep un picked up candles for up to 3 months before they will be put up for adoption!

Can we host our birthday party, staff party, book club, ect, here?

Absolutely! We have a private Dining Room available with space to set up light refreshments (non-alcoholic only)

What is candle adoption/when does it happen?

When a candle has been left in our store for longer than 3 months. we put them up for adoption in our “Dog Days of August” event! The abandoned candles will be put out for purchase with a donation of at least $5 on August 1st! All proceeds will be donated to a local animal shelter.

What does the pricing look like?

I All of our Scent Your Own options we carry are between $12 and $35.

What are the candles made of?

All of our candles are made out of natural Soy Wax with cotton wicks to ensure a slow, clean and healthy burn. Our fragrances are either essential oils or high quality, skin safe fragrance oils. We strive to keep our candles as clean and safe as possible so we do not add any additives or colors to our wax.

Can we recycle a jar we have purchased before or bring in our own container?

Yes! You can refill a candle you have made with us in the past or even bring in your own vessel to pour a candle in! We ask that you try your best to clean out most of the wax before you bring it in and be patient with us when we are busy. Filling these containers costs $2 an ounce!

DISCLAIMER! If you bring in your own vessel, we cannot guarantee that the heat will not break your container. So avoid pricey or sentimental items and burn at your own risk.
